Today: continued to get experiment statistics cached + auto-generated periodically (and therefore able to trigger notifications, for example), started adding some hooks for the experiment “life cycle”, and started planning some documentation. Experiment statistics are now cached using the Transients API. This work is committed. I also have the periodic computation via WP Cron working, but it requires some more debugging so I’ll commit tomorrow.

Also continued a discussion with some other Automattic folks on what all would be required to get ShrimpTest running on and friends. There are a number of challenges and Barry (Automattic sysadmin extraordinaire) was very helpful. 🙂 Always good to talk to people about complex problems.
